Position Overview:

We’re seeking an energetic, outgoing AAC Communication Partner for a young female client eager to explore her social life, make friends, and enjoy “girly” activities! This role is perfect for a young female who enjoys going out, socializing, and can help our client engage with neurotypical peers and explore her interests safely and confidently.

Key Responsibilities:

Facilitate social outings to places like restaurants and shopping centers.

Use AAC tools and strategies to support the client in social interactions.

Help her engage with peers, fostering meaningful connections and promoting social confidence.

Encourage and assist with activities she loves, such as scrolling TikTok, going shopping, and exploring local nightlife.

Maintain a safe, supportive environment while respecting boundaries and upholding our bill of rights.

Ideal Candidate:

Experience with or willingness to learn AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication).

Friendly, approachable, and passionate about creating inclusive social experiences.

Open to flexible hours, including weekends or evenings, based on social outings and events.

Strong communicator with patience, empathy, and a commitment to the client’s personal growth.

Job Type: Part-Time to Full-Time

Schedule available: Monday to Thursday, 2 PM - 7 PM, plus weekends

Starting Pay: $24 per hour

Education: Associate Degree preferred

Work Location: Multiple Locations including home and community
