compensation: $19 (will increase $20 once you meet 1 year work anniversary)

Job Type: Full-time 35 hours per week Mon-Fri ( 8:30am-4:00pm)

Pay: $19 per hour

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide job coaching assistance to persons with disabilities in their current employment position.

Provide peer training, peer assistance, peer teaching, peer motivation, and/or peer supervision of the client in a work environment through on-site and off-site peer job coaching as needed.

Develop teaching and learning strategies for the client to be able to meet performance expectations.

Provide weekly and monthly consumer progress notes to Regional Center Counselors

Identify areas of appropriate and inappropriate personal social functioning (using existing resources, reports, personal observation, and communication with counselor, consumer, family members, and others as needed).

Work closely with employers and client(s) to ensure successful 90 day employment retention.

Submit accurate and timely SCRS-IL time sheets for the purpose of wage compensation for work performed every two weeks.

Serves as liaison with Consumer, RC Counselor, and potential or actual employer.

Coordinates Pre-Employment Training, Job Preparation through Job Club and individualized training, including arranging for classroom, necessary supplies, notifying consumers, etc.

Works with consumer to develop and formulate their Master Applications and Resumes that highlight their vocational skills and interests.

Provides leadership in developing and promoting marketing initiatives and strategic planning for both consumers and the business industry.

Represent agency to public and private entities for purposes of outreach, public relations, systems change, advocacy, and fund development.

Does not transport participants in your own vehicle
