EXPERIENCED DOG HANDLERS, PAID OPPORTUNITY TO DOG FOSTER!

Looking to make a real difference? Fostering a dog is one of the most rewarding things you can do. At Ace of Hearts Dog Rescue, we rescue dogs of all breeds from high-risk shelters before they’re euthanized, and we place them into loving foster homes while they wait for their forever families.

We need long-term fosters for medium/large breed dogs listed below. Please let us know who you are interested in fostering when you reply! Also include your contact phone # and email:

LABOR DAY WEEKEND IS ALSO NEEDED FOR SHORT TERM FOSTERING, IF THAT BETTER SUITS YOUR SCHEDULE OVER LONG TERM PLEASE REACH OUT AND LET US KNOW!

COCHISE - 10 year old, Male, German Shepard/Husky Mix. Cochise! He is a sweet senior boy, who sadly had his previous owner pass on. Cochise is looking to continue to bring smiles and joy to a new family. He is great with other dogs and knows the everyday house life routine well. He is currently with a foster, and we will continue to update as we learn more about him. All in all, he just wants a place to lay his head and a family to give him all the cuddles. Needs Foster 9/6-9/15

DOZER - 5 year old, Male, American Bulldog/Bullmastiff Mix. Dozer, is a laid- back boy who is all about lounging and loving. Dozer is a true couch potato at heart, preferring to spend his days relaxing at home rather than being overly active. He’s incredibly easygoing and affectionate, getting along well with everyone he meets. While Dozer is a loving and friendly companion, he would do best as the only dog in the household. He has no other medical concerns and is in great health. If you’re looking for a sweet, relaxed dog to share your home with, Dozer could be the perfect fit. He’s ready to bring his easygoing nature and affectionate spirit into a home where he can be the sole center of attention.

ZEN - 4 year old, Male, Neo Mastiff Mix. Zen has as big-hearted as he is big in stature. Zen is a sweet, playful giant with a lot of energy for his breed. He’s very intelligent and learns quickly, making him a joy to train. However, Zen prefers to be the only dog in the home; he can get jealous and aggressive with other dogs, wanting all the attention for himself. He's also not a big fan of men in hats, they are very suspicious Needs a short term foster 9/6-9/26

BARNABUS - 2 year old, Male, Cocker Spaniel/Terrier Mix. Barnabus is an amazing pup with a huge love for fetch—give him a ball, and he’s the happiest dog in the world! Barnabus thrives in a calm environment where he’s spoken to with kindness and allowed to come to you on his own terms. Once he feels secure, his sweet and loyal personality truly shines. He enjoys quiet walks, the company of men, watching the world go by, and engaging with the people around him. He’s great with kids, other animals, and people, making him a wonderful companion in the right home. Barnabus does have a quirky growl, but don’t be alarmed—it’s his way of asking for attention, especially when he wants to play! He’s been misunderstood in the past, but in the right hands, he’ll flourish into the perfect, devoted best friend. Needs a foster starting 9/10, he really likes men so a male foster is preferred but not required!

TIGER - 18 month old, Male, Staffordshire Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever Mix. Happy, healthy, playful – loves people! Needs confident handler to work on leash reactivity. Best as the only pet in the home. Tiger is great with other dogs and thrives in a playful environment. He loves to play hard and has had training, making him a fun and active companion. However, he’s not a fan of cats and would do best in a home without them. Tiger would be the perfect addition to a family with another active and playful dog or an active household that can keep up with his boundless energy. Needs a foster ASAP who can continue working with him and commit to training support (we provide guidance!)

We’re a fully foster-based rescue – we don’t have a facility. That means we can’t save more dogs unless we have more fosters. Right now, we’re urgently looking for kind, reliable people in the Los Angeles area to help us save lives.

We provide all food, supplies, and medical care. You provide a safe, loving home and help show these dogs what it means to be cared for. This is not a job, this is an opportunity for dog lovers to be compensated for their time and commitment to the dogs care
