We are seeking a dynamic, hard-working professional with a solid background in driving and a desire to work for a fast-paced, company. Responsibilities:
- Follow routes and schedules for timely deliveries - Make deliveries of oil (55 gallon drums) in accordance with customer needs and company policies
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Maintain accurate driving logs - Early AM start (Monday - Friday) 3-4 day work week (average 55 hours weekly)
Experience:
- Prior experience as a commercial truck driver is preferred
- Familiarity with various truck types and their specific requirements
- Ability to handle different cargo loading and unloading techniques
Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Strong communication skills and customer service-oriented approach

Duties:
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
- Inspect vehicles before and after each trip to ensure they are in proper working order.
- Secure cargo for transport to prevent damage or shifting during transit.
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery details.
- Communicate with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise.

Skills:

We service large and reputable furniture retailers. This is a non-CDL "white glove" in the home delivery operation, not an over-the-road (OTR) opportunity.
For top performers, your business can expect ongoing local deliveries, same daily loadout and check-in location, and potential of $3,500+ gross weekly revenue for home delivery of new furniture in this market area.
