Growing construction company seeking a detail-oriented Bid Coordinator to start immediately.
Job Description:
-Search for projects/bids.
-Setting up projects/bids.
-Estimating/bid analysis.
-Proposal preparation.
-Research of materials for accurate bidding.
-Subcontractor, vendor, and supplier communications as needed.
Requirements:
-Desire to learn is a must.
-Mathematical and organizational skills are a plus.
-Ability to read construction plans/specs and identify material and special requirements (training provided if needed).
-Must be resourceful and use all tools available to research materials and specs.
-Pay close attention to details.
-Good time management skills.
-Must be able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
-Must be able to perform under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.
-Ability to take direction and follow company policies and procedures.
-Computer literacy with Excel, Outlook, Word, and other Microsoft Office programs.
-Ability to meet company attendance requirements, and be reliable and punctual.
