A CSR Logistics Planning position involves handling outbound customer communication to process orders, coordinate shipments, route shipments accordingly to routing guide, resolve logistics issues, and manage customer relationships within the supply chain. Key

duties include setting up shipments, calculating shipment spec to determine LTL vs FTL shipments, resolving order holds, and ensuring smooth communication between customers, carriers, and internal teams to optimize delivery processes and maintain customer

satisfaction. 

Responsibilities

Customer Communication & Order Management:

Handle inbound calls and emails, enter and process freight orders, and act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries related to logistics. 

Shipment Coordination:

Set up shipments, create tally, BOLs, and matrix for pallet configuration, and coordinate with carriers and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods. 

Problem-Solving & Issue Resolution:

Investigate and resolve customer issues, such as order holds, data discrepancies, to ensure a seamless experience. 

Documentation & Reporting:

Create and manage pre-shipment documentation, maintain customer master data in ERP systems, and provide reports to management on logistics performance.  Knowledge with large retailer routing guide and shipping requirements to Walmart, Amazon, Best Buy, and

more.

Process Improvement:

Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes, reduce costs, and enhance customer service through inventory management best practices. 

System & Tools Proficiency:

Utilize various software, including customer relationship management, database, order processing, and other enterprise resource planning systems. 

Skills & Qualifications

Strong Customer Service Skills:

Ability to communicate effectively, build rapport, and provide excellent support to customers. through emails, internal team discussions, and verbal notifications

Logistics & Supply Chain Knowledge:

Understanding of supply chain operations, freight movement, and inventory management. 

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in using logistics software, order processing systems, and Microsoft Office Suite. 

Analytical & Problem-Solving Abilities:

Capacity to analyze logistics data, identify issues, and propose effective solutions. 

Organizational Skills:

Ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and handle a high volume of communication and shipments. 

Teamwork:

Collaborate effectively with colleagues in different departments and with external partners to achieve logistics goals.
