Busy workers' compensation law firm has an opening for a full-time typist. Must type 70+ WPM, have Microsoft Word experience and be proficient in written English. Must be a quick learner, good at basic math, and detail-oriented.
Must be able to work some split shifts 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. for the first few months for training before transitioning into days Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Duties will include transcribing dictation, typing and formatting correspondence/legal documents, preparing records indexes for medical appointments, appointment letters and other office/file related tasks.
We are looking for a responsible person who is efficient, trustworthy and honest. Must be flexible and able to work on your own.
Salary negotiable depending on experience.
This is not a remote position.
