Are you a seasoned HR professional with a deep understanding of California's complex labor laws? We want you to join our team!

Type: PART-TIME, IN-PERSON

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee and manage all aspects of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation, benefits, and compliance with state and federal laws.

- Ensure full compliance with California labor laws, including wage and hour regulations, paid sick leave, family leave, and other employee rights.

- Advise management on HR best practices, legal compliance, and company policies.

- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in accordance with California labor laws.

- Handle employee relations issues, including disputes, disciplinary actions, and investigations.

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal requirements related to human resources, ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations.

- All aspects/functions of payroll

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources related field.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR in California

- Strong knowledge of California labor code, OSHA regulations, FMLA, ADA, workers’ compensation, and other legal matters.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification is a plus.
