Job Description
The Dispatcher will coordinate daily moving operations for a large fleet, ensuring all jobs are completed on time and within company guidelines.
Duties and Responsibilities:
File reports and process requests related to moving jobs.
Ensure safe, accurate, timely, and efficient delivery of all moving jobs while facilitating and supporting drivers and dispatchers for a fleet of 30+ trucks.
Scan and upload essential documents and reports into the company's MP system.
Communicate and coordinate heavily via computers and telephones.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
Prior experience in the moving industry is required.
Familiarity with moving industry software or logistics software.
Experience working with a large fleet of trucks (50+).
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
