Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Payroll and Clerical Assistant to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for managing payroll tasks, performing general clerical duties, and ensuring smooth and efficient operation. This role is ideal for someone with strong time-management skills and the ability to be detailed oriented.

Key Responsibilities:

Payroll Processing:

o Accurately prepare and process employee payroll on a bi-weekly basis.

o Maintain payroll records, including timekeeping data and employee deductions.

o Respond to payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

o Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding payroll.

Clerical Duties:

o Perform general office duties such as data entry, filing, scanning, and copying.

o Manage and organize company documents, both physical and digital.

o Assist with scheduling, meeting coordination, and other administrative tasks as needed.

Employee Records:

o Maintain up-to-date and accurate employee records, including personal information, and tax documentation.

o Assist in the preparation of reports related to payroll and company compliance.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in payroll processing or clerical work is preferred.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial and confidential data.

Proficiency with payroll software and Microsoft Office especially Excel.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

High level of professionalism.

Education:

High School Diploma or GED required.

Associates degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
