HR & Payroll Administrative Assistant (Entry-Level)

A fast growing private Residential Property Management company is looking for a full time Human Resources and Payroll Administrative Assistant (Enrty-Level) with a strong can-do attitude to join its Corporate Office located in Downtown, LA.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Help monitor various Human Resources and Payroll functions.

2. Assist in updating employee records with new hire information and/or changes in employment status.

3. Help ensure that hours worked are accurate, the checks are cut correctly and employees are paid on time.

4. Assist in maintaining and implementing compensation and benefits packages.

5. Help maintain organizational charts and detailed job descriptions.

6. Help implement HR policies throughout the organization.

7. Process employees’ queries and respond in a timely manner.

8. Monitor, evaluate and help resolve HR and Payroll-related problems or questions.

9. Other duties as needed or directed by supervisor.

Requirements:

Requirements:

1. Bachelors degree with one-to-two years of work experience in Human Resources.

2. Intermediate MS Excel, Word and Outlook knowledge/skills.

3. Bilingual - Fluent in both English and Spanish preferred (Written and Verbal).

4. Prior experience in Property Management Industry preferred.

5. Professional, calm, highly-organized and coachable.

6. Must be able to handle and maintain work confidentiality and privacy.
