We are looking for a Maintenance Manger to oversee 3 medical office buildings in Van Nuys - all on the same campus. Hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm. Overtime hours as needed.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Diagnose problems and repairs in the areas related to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, dry wall, exterior structural, and basic landscaping.
Perform maintenance repairs throughout the properties including common areas, exterior of buildings, and within suites, both occupied and unoccupied.
Communicate effectively with Property Management when outside vendors are necessary for maintenance issues.
Coordinate with vendors and management regarding scheduling maintenance work and be the point of contact for outside vendors.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum two years of previous experience in property management maintenance, other building maintenance, or related trade is required.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
A valid drivers license and reliable transportation is required.
Technical knowledge in the following areas: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, dry wall, and basic landscaping.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
General computer skills including operating a mobile device.
Superior customer service skills including the ability to manage difficult tenants/patients and/or situations.
