Position Overview:
The Jade Apartments is seeking a dependable and proactive On-Site Property Manager to oversee daily operations at our San Gabriel community. This is a live-in position and includes a 50% rent discount on a unit within the property. The ideal candidate will have a valid California real estate license, strong organizational skills, and previous experience in residential property management.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary on-site contact for tenants, vendors, and the property management team
Manage leasing activities including showing units, qualifying tenants, and processing applications
Coordinate move-ins, move-outs, inspections, and lease renewals
Respond promptly to maintenance requests, building issues, and emergencies
Enforce building rules and regulations
Assist with rent collection and track payments using property management software
Maintain communication with off-site management for updates and reporting
Requirements:
Valid California real estate license (required)
Prior experience in property management, leasing, or a related field
Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills
Comfortable using property management platforms (AppFolio experience is a plus)
Must live on-site and be available for occasional after-hours needs
Compensation:
Salary based on experience
50% rent discount for an on-site unit
Potential for additional bonuses based on performance
