Job description:
We are seeking a bilingual on-site Property Manager to join our team. This role requires the manager to live on-site to ensure the efficient management and oversight of the property. As the primary point of contact, the Property Manager must be prepared to respond promptly to any emergencies at their assigned building.
Responsibilities:
Leasing and rent collections
Executing leases and serving legal notices
Monitoring and coordinating outside vendors
Providing professional, prompt, and efficient tenant support
Recording and tracking completion of work orders
Ensuring compliance with property rules and regulations
Performing light maintenance tasks (e.g., changing batteries, general cleaning)
Maintaining property curb appeal
Facilitating communication between tenants, support staff, and management
Ensuring high occupancy rates and achieving top market rents
Daily data entry using Excel, Microsoft Office, and Outlook
Inspecting and approving unit turnovers with vendors
Qualifications:
Bilingual preferred but not mandatory
2 years of property management experience preferred
Sales and customer service experience is a plus
Positive attitude with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proactive, able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Strong problem-solving skills, work ethic, and ability to multitask
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
Proficiency in PC or Mac systems, including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
Experience with Rent Manager software is a plus, but not required
No prior evictions or bankruptcies
Compensation:
Rent-free (1 bedroom + 1 bathroom unit)
Part-time position
2 years of on-site property management experience required
Driver's license required
