Job description
We are currently seeking to hire an on-site property manager to join our team in order to a building located in the Panorama City Area. The property manager is responsible for being the primary point of contact and must be prepared to respond promptly to any emergencies that may occur within their assigned buildings. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter, motivated and possess time management skills.
Responsibilities:
Property Management: Oversee showings, leasing, and collections activities.
Vendor Management: Monitor and coordinate external vendors.
Tenant Support: Provide professional, timely, and efficient tenant assistance.
Work Order Management: Record and track the completion of work orders.
Property Compliance: Oversight and follow-up with property rules and regulations.
Curb Appeal Maintenance: Ensure the property’s aesthetic appeal.
Communication: Facilitate communication between tenants, support staff, and management.
Occupancy and Rent Optimization: Monitor occupancy rates and strive to achieve top market rents.
Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) for daily data entry.
Legal Compliance: Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
Notice Distribution: Post necessary notices to tenants.
Requirements:
- A positive attitude and great people skills.
- Self-motivated and able to get things done in a timely manner.
- Basic computer skills, emails, files and record keeping, etc.
- Able to focus and think ahead, follow through, and meet deadlines.
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills, good organization skills and the ability to multitask.
- Must be organized and detail-oriented.
- Prior Leasing Experience of Apartment units a plus
- Must have reliable transportation
- Background check screening
Compensation:
- Leasing bonuses provided
- Fully compensated 1 bed + 1 bath
- Monthly allowance
