Champion Construction Supply is looking for Counter Sales Representatives that are knowledgeable, energetic and able to consistently deliver the best overall customer experience.
Essential Duties: (But not limited to)
Demonstrate great prospecting skills to identify new accounts.
Proactively identify and capitalize on opportunities to grow sales with current and potential customers. (up sale)
Day to day walk-in transactions. (Balancing cash drawer at end of day)
Process over the phone orders.
Assist customers with their questions and needs, either in person, via the phone. Includes placing orders with vendors, price research, and problem solving.
Ability to think quickly and make decision.
Store tasks include cycle counts, inventory stock, spot counts.
Willing to work as a team.
Work hand in hand with office to resolve discrepancies.
Maintains a safe working environment.
Requirements/ Skills:
Excellent communication, customer service skills. (experience)
Maintain appropriate professional and technical knowledge.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 90 pounds.
Knowledge of our industry is a plus.
High school, secondary diploma or GED required (additional education is a plus).
