The Warehouse Clerk will be organizing and managing inventory in the warehouse. Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work independently. Preparing and maintaining detailed records, inventory, and tool maintenance. Responsible for various warehouse activities including shipping and receiving job materials, maintaining inventory and associated records, maintenance, and inspection of tools and equipment. We are a generator repair, installation, and service company that is similar to the HVAC, plumbing, and electrical worlds.
Warehouse Duties
Manage inventory of under 1000 items
Improve inventory management workflow
Create a barcode system for inventory management
Record amounts of materials or items received
Sort material according to size, type, style, color, or product code
Identify damage, loss, or surplus of goods and materials stored in the warehouse
Compile inventory balances and price lists.
Asset and tool management
Handle any returns
Maintain records of all activities and processes pertaining to the warehouse
Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; and reconciling with the data storage system.
Procurement Duties
Order all parts and materials
Handle procurement and receiving through online software
Manage statuses of orders, call vendors, update software system with status
Build relationships with vendors and conduct price comparisons
Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items
Vehicle Maintenance Duties
Keep detailed records of vehicle maintenance
Schedule vehicle maintenance, repairs, inspections, tire maintenance
Vehicles are independent inventories that need to be managed
Safety Program Duties
Manage safety procedures and training
Ensure vehicle inspections and safety training are completed by employees
Inspect forklift, fire extinguishers, and safety equipment
Forklift certification is preferred but not required.
Servicetitan and/or QuickBooks experience is preferred but not required
Will travel in a company vehicle to deliver materials to job sites in Los Angeles
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Experience in the electrical, plumbing, or HVAC field is preferred but not required.
Must have at least two years of warehouse experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $35.00 per hour
