We're looking for a motivated, reliable, and experienced Gas Station Manager to oversee daily operations and lead our team. This is a key position with a variety of responsibilities, from managing employees to maintaining inventory. Key Responsibilities:
Supervise Staff: Hire, train, schedule, and manage employees to ensure excellent customer service and smooth daily operations.
Employee Management: Handle performance issues, disciplinary actions, and terminations when necessary.
Schedule Creation: Develop weekly work schedules that optimize staffing levels for peak and off-peak hours.
Inventory Control: Manage inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels of convenience store items, and supplies. Place orders as needed to maintain optimal stock.
Operational Excellence: Ensure the station meets safety and regulatory compliance standards. Oversee maintenance and cleanliness of the station.
Customer Service: Lead by example in providing outstanding service to customers, resolving issues or concerns when needed.
Financial Oversight: Monitor and manage cash handling procedures, reconcile daily sales, and assist in budgeting.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a managerial role (preferably in retail, gas station, or convenience store setting).
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to make decisions quickly and manage conflict effectively.
Knowledge of inventory management systems and basic accounting practices.
Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
