PURPOSE OF POSITION:
To provide efficient and courteous service, up-sell company car wash and in-store promotions; receiving and processing payments on cash register transactions. In addition, maintain a safe, clean and friendly environment at the station.
MINIMUM JOB SPECIFICATIONS: Required:
· High School Diploma / GED Equivalent
· Minimum of six months general cashier experience, which includes effectively working with the public and handling cash
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Ability to effectively communicate with customers
· Ability to accurately perform multiple duties
· Adequate data entry skills

Essential Functions:
· Light work examples: Work performed requires frequently moving from one work stations to another, standing throughout shift; frequently operating computer keyboard; cash register system and other equipment/machinery.
· Heavy work examples: Lifting/lowering; pushing; pulling; reaching; bending; carrying; twisting; kneeling; climbing; and squatting.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
· Handling high volume of customers with fast, fresh and friendly service
· Providing excellent customer service when faced with a dissatisfied customer
· Completing the sales transactions of products and services
· Handling, recording and accounting for all cash, debt and credit transactions
· Constantly cleaning station work areas utilizing established Maintenance List (ask Manager to provide)
· Handling and working around chemicals, such as fuel and cleaning products
· Installing and/or removing signage
· Stocking shelves, walk-in coolers, cabinetry and other areas of displays
· Accounting and reconciling lottery, cigarettes, phone cards, gift cards, cash drops, refunds, car wash, voids and cash transactions for every starting and ending shifts
· Pricing of all products
· Maintaining safety standards
· Vendor check-in
· Up-selling after every transaction
· Daily uniform compliance
· Preparing proper reporting of incidents that occur on occasion
· Using back-belt when stocking or lifting up to 50 lbs.
· Emptying trash inside and outside
· Preparing food
· YOU WILL BE observed on an audio and video surveillance system, in which KA Management, Inc. staff will look for quality of work performed, behavior, register transactions, cash handling and theft.
