Fancy Free Liquor is a retail bottle shop that carries a wide range of rowdy spirits, natural wines, and wild beers. We also offer an extensive seasonal menu of cocktail mixes, all made from fresh juices, syrups, and tinctures. With an in-store team made up exclusively of seasoned bartenders, our customers can expect authentic hospitality, thoughtful recommendations, and some truly impressive product knowledge.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Service: Greet customers, assist with product selection, and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
Product Knowledge: Stay informed about our product offerings, including new arrivals and promotions, to effectively assist customers.
Inventory Management: Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure that products are neatly arranged and well-presented.
Sales Transactions: Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system and handle card payments.
Store Maintenance: Keep the store clean, organized, and safe, including performing regular checks and maintaining a tidy checkout area.
Alcohol Delivery: Safely and efficiently deliver alcohol orders to customers’ homes or businesses in a timely manner, and verifying the accuracy of each delivery, ensuring all items match the customer’s order.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Experience: Previous bartending experience, including a broad knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and cocktails.
Preferred Experience: Previous retail or customer service experience preferred, but not required.
Skills: In-depth product knowledge, strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Availability: Monday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years old (in accordance with state laws).
Licensing: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs on a daily basis.
Manual dexterity for handling fragile product and equipment.
Ability to competently drive company vehicles while adhering to all driving laws.
Capable of working evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
