The position:

We are seeking a part-time team member for approximately 15-20 hours per week for both weekday and weekend shifts. Our 32 year-old family-owned store is located in the historic Original Farmers Market at 3rd and Fairfax in Los Angeles (adjacent to The Grove).

About Sticker Planet:

Our store is a popular destination for both locals and tourists from all over the world. We offer a unique and fun shopping environment, selling artistic stickers (and other things that stick) for kids and adults. Our customers include parents, grandparents, children, teachers and everyone else who enjoys our creative products.

Job responsibilities:

Our small store (300 square feet of fun) is a very active and fast-paced place. Candidates should enjoy interacting with customers and be able to maintain a high energy level to keep our busy and fast-paced store functioning well. Responsibility, punctuality, reliable communication and excellent job attendance are critical components of the position.

The job responsibilities include helping customers find products that meet their needs, educating them about our products and ringing up sales, preparing customer orders, keeping the store clean and organized, and receiving and restocking inventory. Our employees also must follow and enforce all Farmers Market, Sticker Planet and public health agency COVID protection procedures which we take seriously.

What we are looking for:

We are especially looking for people who desire a long-term employment relationship. Our employees typically stay with us for years and take a great deal of pride in the store's appearance and operation. Unlike some corporate or big-box retail jobs, our employees wear many hats and have an opportunity to learn different aspects of running a store while gaining valuable experience in the retail field. Once hired, we give employees regular shifts with reliable hours that rarely change so you can plan activities, such as school, around your work schedule. All employees receive paid sick days.

Upon hire we will require the following:

Proof of full COVID vaccination status (including booster shots if eligible.) We will consider requests for exemptions from vaccination requirements for valid religious or medical reasons.
