Job Description: Pom Pom at Home is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Assistant to join our team. The Production Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes, from sourcing materials to coordinating with suppliers and managing inventory.

Responsibilities:

Perform administrative and operational functions to support the production team.

Order and SKU Management: Oversee the complete lifecycle of vendor Purchase Orders, including entering POs, creating SKUs and barcodes, managing transfers, and ensuring accurate data upload into Netsuite.

Documentation: Handle various documentation tasks such as purchase orders, invoices, item receipts, bills, and shipping documents with precision and compliance.

Collaborate with accounting, warehouse, inventory management, and vendors to reconcile purchase order discrepancies and vendor invoice statuses.

Inventory Monitoring: Track inventory levels, analyze data, and assist in managing stock levels to optimize inventory levels and prevent shortages or overstock situations.

Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of products.

Supplier Communication: Act as a liaison with vendors and manufacturers, maintaining regular communication and ensuring accuracy in quantities, specifications, and delivery timelines.

Maintain Product Damage Log: Handle product claims, request replacement parts or credits with vendors, and ensure accurate documentation of product damages.

Inventory Pricing: Upload pricing and markdowns into systems, communicating changes to the team promptly.

Update master vendor files, catalogs, and price lists, and coordinate with the graphic designer to update websites accordingly.

Coordinate new product trainings with in-house customer service and sales teams, providing necessary product knowledge and preview files.

Trade Shows: Organize and coordinate the shipments of new product launches to showrooms, and assist with product launch displays at trade shows.

Assist in producing high-resolution images of new products, monitor product uploads on the company website, and ensure data accuracy.

Organize picture files for various reporting and system uploads.

Market Research: Conduct research on market trends, competitor products, and pricing strategies to support decision-making processes.

Administrative Support: Assist the Creative Director and Production Manager with special projects, scheduling meetings, organizing files, preparing mood/product boards, and other day-to-day tasks as needed.

Requirements:

2+ years of buying experience, with a strong understanding of retail math and inventory planning.

Experience in the home textile industry is advantageous.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong time management and organizational skills.

Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office; knowledge of NetSuite is a plus.

Willingness and availability to travel as required.
