We are a ceramic and porcelain tile importer and distributor looking to fill a full-time inside sales position in our Van Nuys retail showroom. We need someone to help customers with their tile projects from planning to decisions about style, color and design, as well as making sure they have a product that is suitable for their use. The goal is not just to make sales, but to have happy, satisfied customers that value you and their experience. You will also be working with our wholesale distributors, taking their orders by phone, fax or email and checking product availability for them.
This position offers opportunities to learn and advance. Some existing knowledge and education in surfacing materials and/or having a design background is helpful.We are seeking someone who:
- Has good customer service, math and computer skills
- Can multi-task and work every other Saturday
- Can work with and along side our other showroom employees
- Has some existing knowledge and education in surface materials
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Assisting customers with design help or questions about our product lines
- Answering phone calls
- Entering faxed or telephone orders
- Pulling small orders
- Showroom cleaning
- Maintaining our sample library
