Job Overview:
As a Warehouse Associate & Delivery Driver at Budget Shelves, you will be a key player in ensuring that our operations run smoothly. From organizing inventory to making timely deliveries and processing customer payments, you’ll be at the heart of our mission to provide superior service to our customers.
What You’ll Do:
Warehouse Responsibilities:
o Load and unload industrial goods with precision and care.
o Organize and maintain inventory to ensure a well-run warehouse.
o Prepare and package orders efficiently for shipment.
o Safely use basic warehouse equipment such as dollies, moving stairs, and other tools necessary for handling goods. OSHA-compliant training will be provided as required by law.
Driving & Delivery Responsibilities:
o Safely drive company vehicles to deliver products across the Los Angeles area.
o Ensure all deliveries are accurate, timely, and handled with utmost care.
o Keep the delivery vehicle clean, organized, and in top condition.
Customer Interaction & Payment Processing:
o Accept and process payments from customers using our approved payment processors during deliveries.
o Ensure all transactions are accurate and properly documented.
o Provide excellent customer service, addressing any customer inquiries or concerns during delivery.
What We’re Looking For:
Minimum Qualifications:
o High school diploma or equivalent.
o Valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record.
o Physical ability to lift heavy objects (up to 75 lbs) on a regular basis.
o Previous warehouse or delivery experience is a plus, but not required.
o Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
o Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
o Excellent communication and customer service skills.
o Basic understanding of payment processing and handling transactions (training provided if necessary).
