Are you a one man show IT / MSP shop tired of running the rat race without support from co-workers and peers. We are a small, but long established (20+ years) MSP / IT Services firm looking to bring on an additional staff member. We had someone come on board a while ago after being on his own for years and it was a breath of fresh air to have someone join the team who understood not just the technical side but the customer service side of things. They did bring a couple of their customers with them, which was beneficial for the customers, the tech, as well as for the company. Unfortunately, it did not work out with them as they ended up deciding to leave the IT industry completely.
We are in Glendale and offer both Managed IT Services as well as having many clients who are hybrid, and still some smaller and legacy clients that are time and materials. Most of our customers have been with us for over 10 years, some 20, and even a couple of 25 year clients! We are mostly a Microsoft shop servicing with mostly professional services (Architects, Accountants, Doctors) as clients. We do some Mac support as well as Google Workspace. Hours are typically 9PM to 6PM and we really try to keep a 40 hour work week.
Unlike a lot of MSPs we are not trying to grow to a certain revenue target, sell the business, and then start a new one. We are here for our customers first and foremost and not to just make a quick buck and run.
This can be a work from home position, but you are welcome to come into our office one or more days a week. Most days I would expect to have at least one onsite visit to a customer. Customers are predominantly in the greater Los Angeles area.
Compensation would depend on experience. Compensation for any clients that you bring over TBD.
