A diagnostics corporation in the Culver City area is seeking qualified applicants for an Extraction Chemist position. The position is full-time.

Qualifications
Must have a B.S. Degree in Chemistry/Biochemistry or a related field as long as either 24 semester hours of medical laboratory technology courses, OR 24 semester hours of science courses that include 6 semester hours of chemistry, 6 semester hours of biology, and 12 semester hours of chemistry, biology or medical laboratory technology in any combination.
No lab experience necessary

Duties
Follow company policies and SOPs exactly as written
Adhere to company safety policies and rules
Perform SPE and LLE assays manually and on an automated liquid handler (HAMILTON)
Calibration verification of Pipettes and Dispensers
Take inventory for assigned solvents and consumables
Attend weekly team meetings with the supervisor
Accurately make reagents, standards, and controls per SOPs or as directed
Be responsible for documenting PM, calibration and any temperature/maintenance log
Send daily productivity report to the supervisor and lab director
Complete 12 Continuing Education units per year
Clean and maintain laboratory equipment and areas
Maintain, file, organize, and track documents, files, records and projects as assigned
Word processing
