Summary/Objective
We are currently looking for a Lab Technician to Perform QC Analytical testing of raw materials, stability samples, bulk and finished products in compliance with all regulatory standards for Cosmetic, Skincare and OTC products. Analyze and report findings; and investigate atypical results and discrepancies to determine causation. Expedite critical testing results without compromising sample validity or quality assurance.
Position: Cosmetic Lab Technician
Must have experience as Lab Tech in Cosmetic Manufacturing setting.
Must be able to work Evening Shift - 1:30pm to 10:00pm (OT as needed)
Shift differential pay applies for this role. (.50 cents additional per hour)
Top 6 Primary Functions
1. stability testing - Set up and handle all stability studies and report stability data to different departments.
2. Raw Materials and Finished Good testing - Test and release in-coming raw materials based on established specification.
3. Conduct investigation to find the root cause of out of specifications.
4. Create new specification for Bulk, Raw Material or finished products and revise or update existing specifications.
5. Perform DI Water weekly testing.
6. Maintain and keep laboratory areas, records and data.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position for 2nd Shift OT as needed.
Required Education and Experience
· Minimum 2 Year Lab experience
· Basic computer literacy
· Good understanding of inventory and manufacturing
· Technical knowledge of applicable test methods (Stability, PH Meter, Viscosity)

Salary: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour Depending on Relevant Experience
