About the Role:
We are seeking a professional and reliable Armed Security Guard to join our team at a licensed cannabis dispensary. Your primary responsibilities will include maintaining a safe and secure environment, checking customers in at the front desk, and remaining vigilant throughout your shift.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and verify customers as they enter, ensuring all identification requirements are met.
Monitor the premises to deter suspicious or unauthorized activities.
Ensure the safety of staff, customers, and property by maintaining a strong and visible presence.
Respond to security incidents or emergencies swiftly and professionally.
Collaborate with dispensary staff to uphold all security protocols and compliance standards.
Requirements:
Valid armed security guard license issued by the state of California.
Firearm permit and ability to carry while on duty.
Previous experience in armed security, law enforcement, or a related field preferred.
Excellent observation and decision-making skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain alert and focused during long shifts.
