Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and responsible Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintaining safety and security in both public and private spaces. As a Security Guard, your primary responsibilities will include monitoring premises, preventing unauthorized access, and responding to emergencies.
Responsibilities:
Patrol premises regularly to ensure the safety and security of buildings and grounds.
Monitor security cameras and alarm systems to identify potential security breaches.
Control access to buildings by verifying identification and authorizing entry.
Respond promptly to security incidents and alarms, escalating when necessary.
Write detailed reports on security incidents, safety issues, and irregularities.
Enforce company policies and local regulations to maintain a safe and secure environment.
Provide assistance during emergency situations and liaise with emergency services as needed.
Ensure that all safety equipment is functional and report any malfunctions.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a similar field is a plus.
Ability to remain alert and focused for extended periods.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic knowledge of security systems and surveillance equipment.
Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
Must pass background checks and drug screening.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, or patrol for long periods of time.
Must be able to lift up to 50pounds if needed.
Must be able to respond to physical threats and emergencies.
