Job Title: Event Security Guard
Location: Antelope Valley Fairgrounds
Schedule:Most shifts 4pm to Midnight
Seasonal Position: September 24-28
Job Description:
We are seeking reliable and professional Event Security Guards to join our team for the 2025 event season at the AV Fair. As a guard, you will be stationed at access gates, entrances and exits, and search lines. Your role is essential in maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests, staff, and performers.
Responsibilities:
Monitor access points including gates, entrances, and exits
Assist with search lines to ensure safety compliance
Observe and report violations of event rules or suspicious behavior
Be alert to guests in need of assistance or medical attention
Work professionally alongside AV Law Enforcement
Requirements:
Must be 18+ years old
Ability to stand for extended periods
Strong communication and observation skills
Prior security or event experience is a plus
Valid Guard Card (CPE offers training)
