Downey Brewing Company is looking to hire a reliable, professional Doorman to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a key role in ensuring a safe and welcoming environment at our busy sports bar and restaurant.
Responsibilities:
Greet all customers as they arrive with professionalism and courtesy
Check IDs to verify age and validity before entry
Monitor for signs of intoxication and deny entry when necessary
Enforce restaurant dress code and entry guidelines
Maintain a welcoming and safe atmosphere for all guests
Assist management with crowd control and report any incidents immediately
Requirements:
Previous experience as a doorman, security, or host preferred (not required)
Strong communication and customer service skills
Professional appearance and demeanor
Ability to remain calm and handle difficult situations respectfully
Must be 21+ and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Schedule & Pay:
Evening and weekend availability required (Friday–Sunday are peak shifts)
Competitive hourly pay based on experience
