General Statement About Job

The Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Coordinator, under guidance of GSOC Manager, is responsible for assisting company personnel in all concerns that pertain to safety, customer service and security for corporate locations around the globe. The individual will work in a Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) environment, monitoring the Operating staff’s day to day activities. The GSOC Coordinator is responsible for reducing risk, coordinating incident response across departments, strategically leveraging metrics to enhance the GSOC program, and limiting exposure to liability within SIS’s Global Safety & Security operations. The GSOC Coordinator will partner with GSOC Management team to develop, implement, and manage security standards, policies, training, and practices. The scope of this position includes security systems planning, development of training programs, management of local GSOC personnel and third-party vendors, auditing Operator caseload, and overall project management. The GSOC Coordinator reports directly to the GSOC Manager.

In this role, you will:

Evaluate existing technical capabilities and systems and identify opportunities for improvement

Guide GSOC leadership growth and management efforts

Institute sustainable and scalable quality control measures across personnel, process, and technological aspects of department operations

Create measurable reporting processes to include alarm monitoring, incident response, cargo tracking and reporting of performance metrics and other service areas

Initiate preliminary investigations and write incident reports on all internal personnel issues and complete proper documentation in accordance with SIS requirements

Serve as Corporate’s primary point of contact to ensure the delivery of high-quality customer service; evaluate and report service quality and initiate any necessary corrective action in a timely manner

Analyze, develop, and strengthen processes and procedures; spearhead process development and integration across the greater team. Empower the team to utilize the resources and knowledge necessary to manage incidents and escalations.

Provide back-up, support, and on-call function as needed

Conduct ongoing review of multiple systems and sources to detect potential risks

Follow procedures for managing a variety of incidents, from minor incidents handled at the local level to global crises

Gather and prepare reports on individual and team performance metrics

Perform other related duties as required

The ideal candidate will:

Have a Bachelor’s Degree or 3+ years of equivalent work experience in Military, Law Enforcement, Government, Corporate Security

Must complete and maintain state Guard Certification as prescribed by presiding State law, as well as all client requested certifications; all documentation and fees are the responsibility of the employee unless otherwise noted

Must have 2/3-year prior experience in a Global Security Operations Center (GSOC), TOC, or similar

Have Experience with security systems, including alarm monitoring, electronic access control, and CCTV

Demonstrated understanding of best practices in physical security strategies, principles, standards, policies, and procedures

Have proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and in-depth knowledge of database management and internet search; proficiency in MAC OS highly preferred

Have excellent time management, verbal and written communication, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills required

Possess the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management

Possess demonstrated experience in the areas of people and conflict management with tact and discretion

Be flexible and possess the ability to function in stressful situations

Be a dependable team player with business maturity and enthusiasm

Salary: $67,000 - 70,000/ Annually
