Requirement/Qualifications:
Young/mature single energetic female, positive personality with laid-back but firm approach. Organized, creative, interested in healthy living and cooking, ability to adjust in life situations. Strong domestic skills for household environment (small 3bdrm/2bath house). As companion to 37 y/o man, work as part of the staff team of 2, perform activities specified in client's individual care plan (self-help, socializing, communication, activities); duties will include transportation to existing programs, community activities, medical appointments.
- Experience/studies of Psychology, Communication Disorders, Education, working with hi-function ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) or related field is a plus!
- Computer knowledge/basic administrative abilities.
- Valid CA driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Live Scan DOJ Fingerprinting (Needs to be completed by start date)
Responsibilities:
Provide one-to-one help with daily household tasks within the living environment, i. e., plan, prepare and assist in daily meals, clean household, basic cleaning goals for the week. Take daily data on behavior/activities. Collaborate with supervisor to report on progress.
