We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The Security Guard will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to respond quickly and appropriately to security incidents.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Security Monitoring: Maintain a vigilant watch over the premises by patrolling regularly on foot, monitoring surveillance cameras, and inspecting access points.
2. Access Control: Verify the identity of individuals entering the premises, issue visitor badges, and restrict access to authorized personnel only.
3. Emergency Response: Respond promptly to security incidents, including alarms, disturbances, or suspicious activities. Take appropriate action to resolve or report these incidents.
4. Report Writing: Document all security-related incidents, maintain accurate logs, and provide detailed reports to management as necessary.
5. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and employees with inquiries, directions, and general assistance when needed.
6. Safety Checks: Conduct routine safety checks, including fire alarm testing and equipment inspections, to ensure a safe environment.
7. First Aid: Administer basic first aid when required and coordinate with emergency services in case of medical emergencies.
8. Security Procedures: Enforce company security policies and procedures, ensuring compliance among all employees and visitors.
9. Conflict Resolution: Handle conflicts and disputes calmly and professionally, defusing tense situations using effective communication and conflict resolution skills.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a security guard or a related field is preferred.
- Strong observational and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
- Physical fitness and ability to stand for extended periods.
- Knowledge of basic security and safety procedures.
- First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.
- Valid security guard license or certification as required by local regulations.
- All guards rotate through all shifts.
- Good command of English language
- Experienced
- Ability to lift 50lbs, as necessary.
- Able to work with interruptions.
- No visible tattoos or facial piercings.
- Relatable experience.
- Familiar with HNWF
- Reliable transportation
