Looking for a 'Security Guard' to support us at the Sidewalk Cafe in Venice Beach. This position will work well with someone looking for a part-time job. Shifts are from 4pm to 10pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We are looking for someone who can work at least one of those days. Food is free during shifts and pay start at $19 an hour.
Responsibility:
1. Check ID's at the entrance to verify the age of patrons, ensuring that only those legal drinking age enter.
2. De-escalate conflicts between patrons and staff in a calm and professional manner.
3. Escort unruly or violent patrons off the premises when needed.
4. Document incidents, such as fights or ejections, in an incident report log.
5. Provide a welcoming presence to patrons, assisting with directions or questions when appropriate.
