Unarmed Security Guard – Graveyard Shift (Torrance, CA)
Location: Torrance, California
Shift: 8:00 PM – 6:00 AM (Graveyard Shift)
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Unarmed Security Guard to protect and safeguard property in Torrance, CA. This is an overnight position that requires vigilance, strong situational awareness, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment.
Responsibilities:
Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter trespassing and suspicious activity
Monitor and report any break-ins, loitering, or safety concerns
Respond appropriately to disturbances or unwanted activity on the premises
Maintain a visible presence to prevent unauthorized entry
Document and report all incidents and security observations accurately
Work independently while remaining alert and professional throughout the shift
Requirements:
Must have a valid California Guard Card (required)
Must have a valid California ID
Reliable transportation to and from the job site
Strong communication and observation skills
Must be professional, dependable, and punctual
Prior security experience preferred but not required
Schedule:
Graveyard Shift: 8:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Full-time and Part-time opportunities available
Compensation:
$16.00 – $17.00 per hour, depending on experience and site placement
