The SAS Shoes Store in Torrance is now hiring We are looking for friendly and outgoing full time sales associates to help us make a great first impression. Job Function:
- Maximize customer shopping experience by providing friendly, courteous and knowledgeable service.
Job Responsibilities including but not limited to:
Customer service
- Greeting, seating, fitting and showing footwear to new and returning customers
- Answering phone calls quickly and courteously
Clerical Duties
- Writing sales tickets
- Taking special orders
- Operating a computer
- Receiving inventory
- Stocking shelves
- Keeping store clean and well maintained
- Emptying trash
Qualifications
- High school graduate preferred
- 6 months in retail customer service preferred
- Ability to lift 30-40 pound boxes
- Ability to stand for long periods of time-bend, stretch and engage in repetitive motions
- Veterans welcome
Competencies
- Excellent customer service skills
- The ability to operate a cash register
- The ability to complete tasks as required
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends
- No cell phones out while working
- Dependable and trustworthy
