Account Sales Rep for Hardware Tools

We are looking for a candidate with a strong knowledge of the tool industry, which can become a wonderful career. The opening will be held as Hybrid work 1 meeting days per week out of the corporate office in El Monte, CA and spend the rest of the week meeting with Hardware wholesale Accounts. Must have experience selling wholesale tools bulk supplies to Amazon, Ace Hardware, Walmart, Target, Lowes, Home Depot, etc.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

● This position has growth potential and a dynamic opportunity for the right candidate.

● Must have current relationships with buyers and decision makers in the tool industry.

● 4 plus years hardware tools bulk sales experience

● Needs to master the knowledge of the performance power of the product

● Ability to meet, greet and excite the buyers of the trade

● Able to have the perception of who the Target Markets are and who are the

customers they cater to

● Must be a good listener and team player that takes responsibility for their

actions

● Organize their sales strategies and appointments

● Offer sales support and training to the potential clients that have an interest

in the collections

● Must have up to date computer knowledge of the supportive systems

● Domestic Traveling can be up to 50% in the beginning

● Air and Road traveling to Trade Shows, industry related events and clients

facilities

● Absorb the past, current, and future trends of the product

● Learn who the competitors are, and how to step ahead of them

● Multi-Tasking priorities and goal setting

● Strong understanding of all the phases and stages of design and performance of the product

● Shipping on time, and customer satisfaction follow up

● Experience and knowledge of Ace Tools, Ace Hardware, Amazon, Atlas

Hardware, Crown Hardware, DK Hardware Supply, Home Depot, Lowes,

Menards, Signature Hardware, Walmart, Menards and/or similar stores.

● Manage all the phases and stages of Business Development from purchase order to coordinating

shipping

● Book Presentations and Meetings with the buyer to acquire their feedback and input

● Command presence with a creative presentation is a must

QUALIFICATIONS:

● Four plus years experience in a competitive sales environment

● Experience a plus, if you have worked with materials, hardware, tools sales

representatives

● Industry savvy, command presence, and knowledge of market trends.

● Self-starter, prioritize and multitask.

● Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of inventory and sales

reports (spreadsheets).

● Excellent communicator both verbal and written.

● College and/or Trade degrees preferred.

Stipend: $2500-$3,500 monthly contract plus 8% competitive commission to start . Can Offer increase in contract stipend after 3 months of proven sales.
