Responsibilities:
The salesperson is responsible for achieving agreed upon quotas, which will be reviewed quarterly.
Search out new clients by all means available – build relationships, sell product
Schedule appointments and regional trips in an efficient manner
Follow up with phone calls, note cards to new clients, etc.
Prepare and send out quotes
Timely correspondence with customer via e-mail / telephone. – all conversations of importance should be documented in writing
Maintain client files physically and in Onedrive
Processing of art, samples, and orders
Timely management of orders in production
Enter all new contacts and inquiring potential clients into our database.
Requirements:
High School diploma, College degree preferred. Must be able to write with proper grammar, have excellent math skills and be task oriented.
Two or more years of experience in carpet, fabric or other sales related positions to the interior design trade.
Ability to close deals and get deposits.
Ability to manage client’s expectations.
Computer Skills must include fluency in Microsoft Office 360 programs such as word, excel, one drive and general computer knowledge. Working knowledge of Photoshop and CAD are a plus.
