How It Works:
The City of Los Angeles has set aside 200 retail cannabis licenses for its Social Equity Program. Priority will be given to cannabis licensing applicants with low incomes, who reside in disadvantaged areas, and have a prior cannabis conviction. An applicant must also have professional experience and a strong business acumen.
