Hello Craigslist Community,
We are a fundraising benefit auction company called MRK Auctions led by our Principal Auctioneer, Mark Schustrin. We are looking to hire someone to run business development, develop leads and set appointments for proposal meetings. This is a remote position with flexible hours. You should be setting 5-10 appointments for me to close per week, at least.
Compensation:
$20/hour
OR $500 per sale closed. Whichever is higher each week. You should be making your commission after two weeks or something is wrong.
What You'll Do:
-Prospect nonprofit organizations hosting gala events.
-Follow up with warm leads and referrals
-Connect with the gala decision makers, qualify leads and set appointments
-Track leads and activity in our CRM (HubSpot)
-Coordinate handoff to Mark, our lead auctioneer, to close the deal
You Should Be:
-A strong communicator with confidence on the phone
-Self-motivated and accountable
-Organized and CRM-savvy (or quick to learn)
-Excited about helping nonprofits raise more money
-Comfortable working independently and meeting weekly goals
