Senior QA Tester for Linux-based systems & products
NOTE: CANDIDATES MUST BE US CITIZENS OR US PERMANENT RESIDENTS. No H1B sponsorship.
QA or SQA tester / engineer position, with more than 3 years of experience in the testing and qualification of Linux-based products or systems.
Candidates must have a college degree in electronics, or communications engineering, or computer science, or other computer-related fields.
Responsibilities/Qualifications - Candidates MUST possess the following skills and qualifications:
Be able to write organized and structured test procedures
Be able to write Test Cases using Python
Experience in writing automation tests for Linux-based environments is required
Demonstrable working experience and knowledge of Jenkins, Selenium, and Robot Framework required
Be experienced in building personal computers and installing HDD or SSD drives
Ensure test cases work across all code branches
Be knowledgeable in storage and hard drive technologies
Have solid Windows and software installation expertise
Have a strong familiarity with all common interfaces such as SATA, USB, Ethernet, PCIe, Firewire, Thunderbolt, etc. and know all the main elements of computer hardware
Have a background in or familiarity with Networking concepts and ability to test such environments
Have strong verbal and written communication skills
Familiarity with Linux OS would be a big PLUS
Background in consumer electronics or set-top box products would also be a big PLUS.
