Western Barber Institute is currently seeking a part- time Barber Instructor Assistant to help with students and customers.
We are looking for professionals who are career-minded, help future professionals thrive in the barber industry and invest in the success of their students. Must be inspired to coach and motivate students in this growing and evolving industry.
Job Responsibilities:
Explain, demonstrate and instruct the students on the clinic floor and in the classroom using WBI’s approved curriculum.
Preparing students to pass the State Board exam and ensuring compliance with State Board rules.
Ensure all classroom and clinic floor protocols and standards are maintained.
Maintain valid California Barber License.
Minimum of 2-4 years of Barber experience.
Prior teaching experience preferred but "not" required.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and team-building skills.
Part-time hours: Monday to Friday 10:00am to 3:00pm. (Schedule is flexible)
