Western Barber Institute (WBI) is currently seeking a part-time Barber Instructor.
We are looking for professionals who are career-minded and want to work for a company that expects excellence and invest in the success of their students. Must be inspired to coach and motivate students in this growing and evolving industry.
-Explain, demonstrate and instruct the students on the clinic floor and in the classroom using WBI’s approved curriculum.
-Preparing students to pass the State Board exam and ensuring compliance with State Board rules.
-Ensure all classroom and clinic floor protocols and standards are maintained.
-Participate in various administrative duties such as attending faculty meetings, accurately recording grades and attendance, and counseling students.
-Maintain valid and current California Barber License.
-Minimum of 3-5 years Barber experience.
-Excellent communication, interpersonal and team-building skills.
-Teaching experience but not preferred. We will train.
Part-time hours: Monday to Thursday 6pm to 10pm, including Saturday 9am to 5pm (Schedule is flexible).
