Job Opening: Deckhand at LIKEMINDED

Qualifications/Requirements:

Strong ability to multi-task and maintain a professional demeanor in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
Regular and punctual attendance is required
Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions with precision
Must adhere to uniform and dress code requirements
Strong working knowledge of our services, food & beverage offerings, and health benefits
Ability to ensure high levels of cleanliness, organization, and safety at all times
Core Responsibilities:
Prepare the venue and equipment for use pre-opening, ensuring cleanliness and functionality of all areas
Oversee the “deck” and equipment usage, facilitating a smooth flow between clients and keeping time limits respected
Sanitize the sauna every 30 minutes, ensuring a clean and safe environment, and top up plunge tubs with water as needed
Complete daily and weekly maintenance schedules on all equipment; raise any concerns regarding functionality and maintenance
Conduct water testing for PH levels and ensure plunge water is replaced every 3 days; change plunge filters as necessary
Regularly check vents and drains to ensure proper functionality and cleanliness
Maintain a clean and organized space by picking up debris, sweeping, and ensuring trash bins are not overflowing
Assist in training and providing feedback to new employees as needed
Ensure the barista station is stocked with coffee, ice, retail items, and other necessary supplies
Follow all health & sanitation, safety & security procedures, and cash handling protocols
Report any incidents or concerns to management, including safety hazards or operational inconsistencies.
