Experience:
Teaching: 1-3 years (Preferred)
Practical Skills in Esthetics, or Cosmetology
California Stateboard Procedures and Testing Standards.
Excellent communication and organization skills.
Committed to providing outstanding customer service.
Computer literate, business writing and communication skills.
Experience with compliance and file maintenance.
Ability to multi-task with a smile.

Position Description
Reports to: Atouzo and Yvonne Neihule
Primary Objective:This position is responsible for delivering an exceptional educational experience for Students.
Responsibilities
Provide on-going recognition, support, and inspiration for students.
Coordinate, facilitate and present exceptional classroom and clinic floor experiences.
Resolve conflict in an effective, confidential and professional manner.
Review student progress, coaching one on one, from freshman-phase/ Senior phase, SAP Including classroom and clinic floor observations.
Make sure Students comply with Neihule Academy set policies and procedures.
Significant internal and external customer interaction and communication including students, team, student’s family members, guests and salon network.
Grade Tests, and stay on top of student’s hours/sign in sheets and graduation dates.
May perform other tasks as required or assigned.
Maintain and Grow Neihule Academy as a profitable business uphold standards as established by Neihule Academy of Beauty Corporation.
Cultivate an environment where employees/students respect and adhere to company core values of quality, integrity, and ownership thinking by integrating these values into all programs and practices.
Lesson-planning and teaching of classes in the Esthetics Program and/or professional development, and Neihule culture.
Actively coaching and assisting students (future salon professionals) with clinic floor services to include technical assistance as well as coaching on salon success skills such as guest consultations, re-booking, and retailing.
Modeling Neihule culture and positive professional habits for our future professionals.
Present instructional materials and reinforcing instruction and follow-ups of understanding of specific concepts and techniques.
Manage classroom teaching conditions and environment through active instructor presence in order to promote positive classroom participation and appropriate use of furniture and equipment.
Provide regularly scheduled academic advising to students within the program
Stay current with all regional and state code changes and industry standards as it applies to the program subject matter being taught
Other duties as assigned
complete daily time records and completing other paperwork required by the Board of Cosmetology for California and BPPE
Qualifications:
Applicants must possess Cosmetology License or Esthetics License in the State of California for at least 3 years
Proven successful salon experience with strong results in building clientele, up-selling, rebooking, and retailing would be a major plus!
Passion for educating, learning, and helping others is an absolute must.
Previous experience in teaching at a cosmetology school.
