NAIL TECHNICIAN - Men’s Nail Care Salon

If you’re looking to do more than nails, but to use your skills to help build and launch a modern nail brand then this is for you! Toolbox is a new nail care concept that serves all genders but is geared towards men. We are creating a cool contemporary environment and removing the barriers to men that exist at other nail salons. We will also offer working conditions and scheduling flexibility far better than most nail salons.
We’re looking for knowledgeable, personable technicians who are highly proficient in quality manicures and pedicures, including callus removal, men’s nail issues and foot massage. We will not be offering nail art or gels, but do anticipate many men will come to want polish. We are looking for people of all genders and backgrounds. Compensation: HOURLY: $20/hr to start.
TIPS: Note that Toolbox’s services will be priced higher than
most nail salons and will turn over clients a little faster (since we will not be doing nail art or gels). We also anticipate that our clientele will view this service as special, not just a regular chore. This all means MORE TIP INCOME!
Scheduling: We're flexible and will work you and your schedule!
REQUIREMENTS:
Must be fluent in English
Active California Cosmetology or Manicurist License.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience with callus remover and dealing with various nail conditions.
Strong technical skills and attention to detail.
Strong work ethic, reliable, professional and a team player.
