Den Mother is a healing house and social space bringing slow medicine to the face-paced lives of today. Our offerings include Japanese Acupuncture, Chinese Reflexology, Swedish and Ayurvedic bodywork and Hot and Cold Water Therapies. These services are paired with a Wellness Apothecary and multiple Outdoor Garden dining areas where we offer small vegan plates, wellness elixirs, teas, sakes and natural wines. Den Mother is a unique healing house where guests come in for a service, but are encouraged to then stay to enjoy the rest of what we have to offer.
Den Mother is seeking an experienced spa attendant to help keep our operations running smoothly.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Cleaning the hot sauna and cold plunge area in between treatments and the end of the day.
Constantly maintain clean towels and robes in the Hot Sauna section
Maintain spa towels, robes and slippers for guests always stocked and clean.
Maintain a safe, clean and well-organized spa environment through consistent monitoring of the facility area.
Ensures adequate stock of supplies and equipment; inform management when stock is low.
Maintain a fully stocked and clean bathroom.
Helps therapists in the outdoor areas with emptying the water from foot barrels, disinfecting the foot barrels, supplying them with clean towels, removing the tea trays from the reflexology treatments, and also removing any additional food or beverage used items from the front and back patio.
Bus tables from guest areas
Run dishes to and from dish area to be cleaned and sanitized
Provide accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests by guests, ensuring complete guest satisfaction.
Develop ability to work without constant direct supervision and remain at assigned post for extended periods of time.
Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment.
Assist in all areas of spa operation as requested by management.
Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa that require attention.
