Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Biomedical Equipment Technician at BiomedRx, Inc. The Technician will be responsible for equipment maintenance, repair, calibration, ensuring electrical safety, and managing medical equipment in healthcare facilities in Los Angeles, San Bernardino, & San Diego County, CA. BiomedRx representatives are also required to perform field service on behalf of medical equipment manufacturers that are contracted with BiomedRx, and to provide education and training services at the BiomedRx Institute in Los Angeles, California. Position requires interstate travel. Must have a reliable vehicle and a clean driving record.
Qualifications
Biomedical Equipment Maintenance, Repair, and Calibration skills
Knowledge of Electrical Safety standards
Experience working with Medical Equipment
Certification in biomedical equipment technology or related field
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Previous experience in healthcare facility maintenance is a plus
Experience in digital technology, computers, programming & web design a plus
Experience in digital video editing and new media production a plus
Experience with technical training institutes a plus
US military experience (veteran) and honorable discharge a plus
Foreign language skills a plus
Teaching and personnel management experience a plus
