Part-Time Assistant Technical Support

Local leading manufacturer and distributor of consumer electronics currently has an open position for a Part-Time Technical/Customer/Warranty Support and light warehouse work.

Responsibilities:

Under supervision, this Technical/Customer Support Specialist will be responsible for the following activities:

1. Assist in processing customer warranty requests.

2. Assisting customers in problem solving and technical resolutions for our products.

3. Product repair and validation.

4. Quality control: Assist in testing and finalizing products and warranty repair products.

5. Assist with Tech Support/Customer Service for products under your responsibility

6. Communicating with customers through the phone, e-mail, social media, and other communication channels.

7. Assist with various other operational tasks.

Qualifications:

1. College students or recent graduate with a college degree or pursing a college degree in marketing, e-commerce, business, engineering, or other related fields.

2. Responsible, efficient, very detail-oriented, great work ethics.

3. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power point, etc.)

3. Good communication skills, both spoken and written.

4. Strong phone conversation skills.

5. Strong interest in marketing business to business, business to consumer, and e-commerce business.

6. Must understand all the necessary components and accessories of a computer.

Familiarity with Consumer Electronics Industry and Consumer Electronics Products (REQUIRED)

Familiar with PC peripherals and components. (REQUIRED)

Ability to take creative direction and work independently.

Attention to detail

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Competency to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines, to organize work, set priorities and determine objectives and strategies to achieve them.

Ability to work in a collaborative group setting to resolve issues, develops ideas, and answer questions.

Computer Repair and System Building

Search Engine Optimization

Excellent interpersonal skills

Adobe Photoshop

Graphic Design

Experience in most major social media and technology communication platforms

Current undergraduate status

Compensation - based on experience and availability

HOURS: Minimum 4 days a week (up to 20+hrs a week). Hours may be somewhat flexible.
